How Sudden Deals Works:
Merchants simply use their secure account to post deals inside SuddenDeals.com. Sudden Deals will perform a "System
Match" immediately matching shopper requests with the merchant's posted
deals based on the following criteria:
- Location
- Category (Restaurant, Bar, Nightclub, Live Music Venue,
Cafe)
- Scheduled delivery, expiration criteria.
Once a System Match occurs, your Sudden Deal is instantly
delivered via SMS text message to the requesting customers. They can then:
- Redeem the deal at your place of business.
- Forward the deal to their friends and family thereby
extending the reach of your deal and introducing your
business to more people.
- Save it for later and have it with them wherever they go.
Your "FavoritesList":
One of the most powerful features is your
FavoritesList. Your FavoritesList allows you to reach
your loyal customers instantly and as often as you like without a System Match.
Unlike email, those on your FavoritesList will receive your
message instantly on their cell phones. You'll know they got
it immediately and you won't be waiting on people who have to
"check email" before getting the good deals!
(Participation in a Merchant's FavoritesList occurs on a
100% OPT-IN basis, so there are no worries about spamming
anyone.)
How FavoritesList works:
When you have the FavoritesList feature enabled, you
receive a FavoritesList Code. Merchants
should advertise their FavoritesList Code in order to quickly
add users to their FavoritesList.
Your loyal customers and/or Sudden Deals users can OPT-IN to your FavoritesList inside
their control panel by entering your code. Once
opted-in to your FavoritesList, you can send these customers special
offers, announcements and more, as often as you like.
NOTE: Users can easily unsubscribe from
your FavoritesList inside their control panel so we suggest
that Merchants use their FavoritesList wisely by sending
super deals to these loyal customers. We also recommend
that you limit the number of messages you send to your
FavoritesList so as to not bombard your list members.

interact with loyal customers anytime, anywhere...instantly.

What is a System Match?

A System Match occurs automatically when a
Shopper's request for deals matches a Merchant's
posted deal(s). The Shopper is required to choose a
location and category when requesting deals. For instance: Location =
Downtown St. Paul - Category = Cafes. Under this
criteria the Shopper would receive up to 25 deals
(since they did not specify a quantity) from
Cafes in downtown St. Paul. |

What is a Credit? |

A credit is how much each sent message costs. A System Match
cost is 2 credits. Remember, this is a very targeted lead! A FavoritesList
message costs 1 credit. So, if you post a deal for System Matches to occur
and 30 messages get sent, the cost is 60 credits. But, if you send a deal
only to your FavoritesList and your FavoritesList only has 30 shoppers,
that would only cost 30 credits. |

schedule them to go out at different times?

You can post mulitple deals, each with its
own deal code and schedule these to be posted
throughout the month.
EXAMPLE: From July 1-7 you
post a BOGO. Between July 8-15 you post a 20%
off clearance items deal. From July 14-22 you
post a SAVE 30% from 10am-noon. From July 23-30
you post a FIT IN THE BAG deal.
You can post all of these on the 1st of the
month and let the system do the rest. Low
