How Sudden Deals Work:
Merchants simply use their secure account to post Sudden Deals inside SuddenDeals.com. The system performs "System
Matches" throughout the day immediately matching shopper requests with the merchant's posted Sudden Deals based on the following criteria:
- Location.
- Category (Restaurant, Bar, Nightclub, Live Music Venue,
Cafe).
- Scheduled delivery, expiration criteria.
Once a System Match occurs, your Sudden Deal is instantly
delivered as an SMS text message to the requesting customers.
If your Sudden Deal does NOT require redemption,
(such as a Concert or Happy Hour announcement), you've instantly gotten your message out to consumers.
The consumers can then:
- Visit your business within minutes of receiving the Sudden Deal.
- Forward the Sudden Deal to their friends and family thereby
extending the reach of your Sudden Deal and introducing your
business to more people.
If your Sudden Deal is a Coupon, the consumers can then:
- Redeem the Sudden Deal at your place of business.
- Forward the Sudden Deal to their friends and family thereby
extending the reach of your Sudden Deal and introducing your

"check email" before knowing of your Sudden Deals!
(Participation in a Merchant's FavoritesList occurs on a
100% OPT-IN basis, so there are no worries about spamming

How FavoritesList works:
When you have the FavoritesList feature enabled, you
receive a FavoritesList Code(s). Merchants
should advertise their FavoritesList Code(s) in order to quickly
add users to their FavoritesList(s).
Your loyal customers and/or Sudden Deals users can OPT-IN to your FavoritesList inside
their control panel by entering your code. Once
opted-in to your FavoritesList, you can send these customers special
offers, announcements and more, as often as you like.
NOTE: Users can easily unsubscribe from
your FavoritesList inside their control panel so we suggest
that Merchants use their FavoritesList wisely by sending
super Sudden Deals to these loyal customers. We also recommend
that you limit the number of messages you send to your
FavoritesList so as to not bombard your list members.

What is a System Match?

A System Match occurs automatically when a
Shopper's request for Sudden Deals matches a Merchant's
posted Sudden Deal(s). The Shopper is required to choose a
location and category when requesting Sudden Deals. For instance: Location =
Downtown St. Paul - Category = Cafes. Under this
criteria the Shopper would receive up to 25 Sudden Deals
(since they did not specify a quantity) from
Cafes in downtown St. Paul. |

What is a Credit? |

A credit is how much each sent message costs. A System Match
cost is 1 credits. Remember, this is a very targeted lead for which all the work is done by SuddenDeals.com for you! A FavoritesList
message costs 1 credit and you are responsible for growing your lists. |

Do credits expire? |

Those credits that come with a monthly plan expire every month. The credits that are additionally purchased get rolled over until they are used up.
Say a merchant chose a monthly plan that comes with 100 credits. If by the next billing cycle only 50 of those credits get used,
the remaining 50 will expire and the account will reset to the next month's 100 credits. On the other hand, if the chosen monthly plan comes with 100 credits and the merchant
purchased an extra 200 credits, the purchased credits get rolled over to the next month. By default, SuddenDeals.com uses up the monthly credits before
using purchased credits. |
